Game Description
7th Floor plunges you into an atmosphere of despair where survival requires constant adaptation. Confrontation with terrible monsters gives way to the need to hide from the inexorable doctor who is hot on the hero’s heels. The gameplay is divided into sections, combining horror and action elements. All events unfold from the first person, which enhances the effect of presence and forces you to carefully examine the environment in search of useful objects and clues. Each action is aimed at achieving the only goal for which the protagonist ended up in this damned place.
The main driving force of the plot is the desperate search for a missing daughter named Claire. It is her disappearance that leads the hero into the ominous corridors of the Hospital of Madness - a gloomy institution that keeps many dark secrets. Progression in 7th Floor is based on exploring floors, each of which is a separate zone with unique challenges. All the pieces of information must be put together to understand what really happened to Claire and the other patients at the hospital.
The truth is revealed gradually, through the study of notes and collectibles scattered throughout the building. Progressing through the storyline requires sequentially completing all levels of the hospital, where solving puzzles opens up access to previously blocked areas. Each solved puzzle not only opens the way forward, but also sheds light on the tragic events of the past. All this brings the hero closer to solving the mystery of his daughter’s disappearance and the final goal - her salvation.
