On the pirateA Hat in Time you can play for free with a friend online, compete with other players and explore the maps alone. An online Internet connection and the ability to play cooperatively on one screen are available. The story tells about a little girl who sews hats for powerful magicians. The girl needs to go through many levels filled with 3D platforming in order to acquire fuel and time, which she is running out of. Without these two resources, she will not be able to sew new hats. Standing in her way is a mafia of chefs, a group of Dead Bird Studio birds, the creepy shadows of the Subcon Forest and many other enemies.

A Hat in Time’s free online play feature includes story mode co-op. You’ll need to solve the Owl Express murder mystery by finding clues, interrogating locals, participating in the Grand Parade, and more. The online game Hats in Time will take you through 5 unique worlds. Hat Kid can levitate, use a grappling hook to cling to special ledges, double jump, climb walls, etc.

At locations you need to collect rare magic buckles. They will be needed to sew different hats that provide unique abilities. For example, a witch’s hat allows you to prepare explosive potions, and a wooden ghost mask allows you to look into parallel dimensions. Hats can be enhanced by equipping them with badges.
