Game Description
After Inc: Revival puts players in charge of humanity’s survivors decades after the Necroa virus event. People find themselves in a world that has been taken over by nature, and must establish a settlement to begin the revival. The main process consists of building housing, farms and sawmills, as well as extracting resources from the ruins of the past world. The main task is to lead this nascent community through a period of recovery in post-apocalyptic Britain. This area serves as a map for exploration, expansion, and eliminating remaining threats.
The main challenge in After Inc: Revival will be managing a new community by making significant decisions that determine its moral foundations. The game poses dilemmas: whether children are an unaffordable luxury, and dogs are pets or a source of food. The form of government is also under your control, allowing you to choose between democracy and authoritarianism. In addition to managing internal policies and services to keep people happy, cities must be protected from zombie invasions.
There are 10 leaders to choose from with unique abilities that offer different approaches to completing these tasks. The entire gameplay is built around a long campaign, which allows you to establish many settlements over time. Progress unlocks and improves skills that can be used in subsequent revival attempts. Narrative algorithms respond to your actions, creating a story that reflects the specific choices you make along the way. This mechanic directly links decisions made to the evolution and survival of the population within a single-player strategic simulation.
