AIdventure is a text adventure in which the role of host and narrator is completely given to artificial intelligence. The project invites you to immerse yourself in limitless stories, where the only limit is the imagination of the author himself. There are no plot frames, allowing you to survive a zombie apocalypse, inherit the throne in a corrupt kingdom, or even fight overpopulation in Europe. Gamers will have to survive in the harsh Middle Ages, fight orcs with blasters, or simply solve everyday problems. The complete absence of censorship and any rules creates a space of absolute creative freedom for everyone.
The basis of the gameplay is a role-playing system, where the success or failure of any action depends on the previously created characteristics of the character. The process of interacting with the world of AIdventure is built on flexibility and control over the narrative. For a detailed study of the plot and its development, the project provides a whole arsenal of tools, allowing:
determine the attributes of the protagonist that directly affect the outcome of events. edit the current story at any time or create completely new scenarios. ask the AI to generate alternative responses to choose the optimal path. flexibly adjust the parameters of the artificial intelligence itself to achieve the desired storytelling style.
Created stories and script templates can be freely shared with other community members, since all data is stored in lightweight files. Confidentiality is ensured by the fact that all information remains exclusively on the user’s computer. For comfortable immersion, support for automatic translation into the native language is provided, as well as the use of video card power to speed up text generation. Thus, all technical and social mechanics are aimed at supporting the main goal - creating unique and unrestricted adventures.
