Angeline Era is a 3D adventure in which former soldier Tetsu Kinoshta must find the truth in a chaotic world. Together with the angel Arcas Gemini, he must break through the storm hiding the angels' mothership, the Throne, to uncover its secrets and determine the future. Traveling through the lands of Era, inhabited by people, angels and fairies, is permeated with an atmosphere of betrayal and unfulfilled desires. To achieve the goal, the heroes will have to explore many locations, from primeval forests and treacherous mountains to abandoned mines and ruins with traps.
The basis of the combat system is the Bumpslash mechanic, where colliding with an enemy initiates an automatic attack without pressing buttons. This approach is complemented by the ability to use firearms and support items for tactical variety. The gameplay of Angeline Era offers a non-linear exploration of the world, where you can freely move around the global map in search of hidden levels and secrets. Confronting enemies requires not only combat skills, but also attentiveness to the environment, because various obstacles constantly arise along the way:
moving walls that change the geometry of locations; deadly volleyballs flying along an unpredictable trajectory; animated hammers chasing the protagonist.
The narrative plunges into a dark mythology woven from Irish folklore and esoteric Christian motifs. In addition to the story campaign, for fans of classic challenges there is an arcade mode aimed at achieving the maximum score in battles with waves of enemies. The flexibility of the passage is ensured by the weapon and armor improvement system, which allows you to adapt your fighting style to your preferences.
