Game Description
Anno 1800 is a city planning and economic simulator with strategy elements, taking place in real time. The seventh game in the Anno series takes place in the 19th century, the century of the industrial revolution, rapidly advancing industrialization and discoveries that could turn the world of science and technology upside down.
The classic gameplay of Anno includes solving complex logistics problems, constantly maintaining a balance between the consumption of strategically important resources and the costs of developing its own production centers. The player’s possibilities are almost limitless: superiority over competitors can be earned both through equipping expeditions and exploring new territories (and their subsequent colonization), and through success on the diplomatic front or military victories.
In addition to expansion, it is necessary to pay attention to the development of our own settlements. Providing residents with necessary goods, installing infrastructure and constructing special buildings can increase the productivity of production chains, and therefore ensure leadership in the international arena. The gamer has three game modes to choose from: a classic story campaign, a “sandbox” with setting many parameters (from the map to the choice of an enemy and the level of his AI) and a network session where it is possible to fight with friends.
