ANTONBLAST may be of interest to connoisseurs of old eight-bit and sixteen-bit games. It is a retro side-scrolling platformer with 2D pixel graphics. Visually, it is stylized as video games from early portable consoles. This project has several modes: normal, difficult, Boss Rush and Time Attack. The gameplay is accompanied by a soundtrack that also emulates retro. The story campaign is divided into 9 worlds, which consist of different thematic stages. The locations themselves seem to be two-level. Special springs and trampolines allow the hero to jump into the background and wander around it. At the same time, the camera angle and image scale remain the same, so the hero moves across the background in a reduced size.

Each stage does not scroll to the end from left to right or, vice versa, but consists of small segments. You can return to previously visited segments. There are a lot of destructible objects on the maps. In the indie game Antonblast, you control a bearded guy with red skin named Anton Dynamite. He makes a living by demolishing and blowing up old buildings. One day, Satan steals his valuable collection of perfumes. After this, the hero sets off on a journey to get even with the lord of the underworld himself. Along the way, he collects these ghosts and picks up coins. The character can run left and right, jump, slide down slides, roll, ram objects and enemies, hit opponents and obstacles with a hammer, and also rotate it around himself while jumping.
