Game Description
AtmaSphere is a small arcade game about the adventures of a ball. There’s even a simple plot. We play for a ball named Ballard. He needs to get to the house of his beloved, whose name is Ballerina. He will not encounter any traditional enemies, but there will be plenty of obstacles.
The main goal here is to help the hero get from point A to B. They are presented here in the form of houses. The game’s gameplay is similar to Ballance and Marble Madness. We just roll the sphere and don’t let it fall. Physics built on inertia helped make this process more fun.
The ball does not always move only from left to right. Often he needs to roll up or down. On a plane, it can move and accelerate in any direction. The hero can also push boxes, barrels and jugs. These objects help slow down in especially dangerous moments. In AtmaSphere the view is made in 2.5D format. The camera here is always located on the side.
The indie project has 30 levels. You can use them to collect coins (there are always different numbers of them) and 5 multi-colored diamonds. According to the lore, the ball picks up gold for the sake of showing off, and jewelry - to impress his girlfriend. It is not necessary to do this. This is just an additional challenge. You cannot buy anything with foreign currency.
There are traps in the locations: spikes, blades, saws, boulders, etc. They all try to push our ball off the track. There are also moving platforms, elevators, and thin paths with sharp turns. If a character falls into an abyss, he automatically returns to the last checkpoint or to the very beginning of the map. The scenery here is the same for all stages - medieval architecture with a forest in the background and constant rain.
