Game Description

In Backyard Digger, the search for treasure becomes the main goal. Advancement deeper into the earth directly depends on the constant improvement of equipment, for which it is necessary to sell all the valuables found through the computer in the barn. The profit received is invested in upgrading tools, increasing digging power, work speed and inventory capacity. Each such improvement is a vital step towards the final goal, opening access to deeper and more resource-rich layers.

The excavation process requires stamina, and the character’s strength is gradually depleted. You can restore energy using food supplies found in the mines, energy drinks or cake from the garage. At the same time, in Backyard Digger you don’t have to go on a search alone, because the project supports co-op for a company of up to four people. This allows you to organize a real team treasure hunt, which begins very modestly - on the surface, armed only with an old rusty shovel and a lot of enthusiasm.

As you descend and discover the secret shaft, it becomes possible to activate the fire. It functions as a control point, allowing rapid movement between the surface and explored depths. Thus, the entire gameplay is built around a cycle of excavations, selling resources and consistently improving equipment. This process allows you to dig more and more efficiently and go lower and lower to the main secret hidden underground. Each foray brings new finds and brings us closer to the solution to what is hidden in the very depths of the backyard.
