Battlefield Vietnam is a first-person shooter with the ability to play online for free, fighting with a friend on a pirate ship against random players or participating in various confrontations over the Internet online or locally. Multiplayer Battlefield: Vietnam includes team matches and classic deathmatch mode. A story-driven single-player campaign is available. Events take place during the Vietnam War.

The possibility of a free online game allows you to take control of one of two warring parties: the US Army (or South Vietnam) or the North Vietnamese Army (NSLF).
