Before Exit: Gas Station is a tense test where a strict boss does not forgive mistakes. Just two missteps separate an employee from being fired, followed by a restart of the entire seven-day work week. This roguelike element turns an ordinary shift into a test of attention to the smallest details, forcing you to constantly be on your guard. Every action has weight, and the cost of inattention is having to start all over again, which creates a unique pressure throughout the entire playthrough. This forces you to carefully inspect every corner before completing the work.

Events unfold at a remote gas station, immersed in the silence of the night. The gamer controls a single employee who will have to complete his shift all alone. Instead of the usual jump scares, the project builds up suspense through an oppressive atmosphere of pure fear and paranoia. In Before Exit: Gas Station, the constant feeling of being watched, interrupted only by the hum of refrigerators and the sound of your own footsteps, creates a feeling of vulnerability. The main task of the character is to follow the to-do list for closing the station and locking all the doors.

The gameplay combines elements of a walking simulator with solving logical riddles. In addition to routine duties such as cleaning rooms or taking out trash, you must be aware of your surroundings. Central mechanics is built on the search for anomalies - the slightest deviations from the norm. A can of soda on the wrong shelf, a tool missing from the workshop, or a light on in an empty room serve as signals of disorder. The project offers over 48 scenarios, including replacing solar panels or extinguishing a fire, which provides a variety of tasks.
