Game Description
Bionic Bay is a 2D side-scrolling platformer. The plot tells about the adventures of an ordinary person in an unusual world. The story is told without words or full cut scenes. The game has a dark and mysterious atmosphere. The project is divided into levels. Already completed maps can be replayed. Their selection is available through the main menu. The gameplay is built around unique physics and the hero’s ability to change places with certain objects. This mechanic is used to overcome obstacles, fight enemies, and solve puzzles. You can, for example, exchange locations with a stone during a free fall before colliding with the ground, and thereby avoid the death of the character. In a similar way, obstacles and enemies are destroyed here.
When the protagonist uses this skill, the video game slows down for a couple of seconds. These moments give the user the opportunity to figure out their next actions. Here you can walk, run, jump, slide along inclined and vertical surfaces, fall, and so on. You can control movements using the keyboard and mouse. Gamepad support is also available. Bionic Bay can be called the spiritual successor to Limbo and Inside. It boasts highly detailed graphics despite the pixel art. Among the features we can also highlight the presence of huge levels. They are sci-fi locations. Sometimes there are places with their own altered gravity.
