In the shooterBratato you have to take control of a potato using a variety of guns while fighting alien creatures. The gameplay includes roguelite genre elements. Locations are procedurally generated, and each run can take up to 30 minutes of real time. There are dozens of types of weapons and additional items of equipment to choose from, allowing you to progress at your own pace and combine the effects of items.

The user can choose flamethrowers, submachine guns, rocket launchers, universal sticks into stones, machine guns and other weapons. The central character finds himself in a hostile environment where he will need to survive waves of enemies lasting from 20 to 90 seconds. Each attack consists of a certain number of opponents. During this time, it is necessary to destroy as many opponents as possible, earning money and opening access to additional items.

As gamers progress, they need to collect materials, gain experience and items from the store, make upgrades, and change inventory between waves of enemies. Once the user is ready, he can exit the shopping menu and continue fighting with opponents. Most firearms fire automatically. Items have different characteristics and can be useful in different situations and moments.
