Game Description
Brush Burial: Gutter World is a dark, immersive simulator that revolves around completing missions across four carefully crafted and interconnected locations. The narrative structure offers one Great Contract and three Minor Contracts, encouraging repeated exploration of levels to experiment with tactics to eliminate opponents. Successfully completing challenges and progressing unlocks access to dozens of unique cosmetic items, including unique outfits for the main character, which significantly increases the replayability of the project.
The story takes place in a harsh, desolate world where a demonic creature named Fennel survives. This demon, expelled from his native lands, who is also a swamp creature, is forced to make his way on the outskirts of the colonial frontier. The main leitmotif of the Brush Burial: Gutter World project is enrichment through the suffering of others. The surrounding reality is saturated with despondency and decline: occult locations look as if they were compressed into bizarre shapes, creating an atmosphere of improvised and at the same time thoughtful chaos.
Mastering a unique set of combat and acrobatic techniques, the protagonist actively uses his forked tail. With its help, you can not only climb to dizzying heights, but also tie up enemies, performing spectacular techniques in the style of koppojutsu. Despite its apparent simplicity, the combat system is highly dynamic and allows you to use both stolen weapons and environmental objects to eliminate threats. Moreover, any confrontation can be avoided, and the crimes committed do not receive a moral assessment, leaving the choice between mercy and cruelty to the gamer.
