The story of Burggeist begins with a mystery surrounding Lucille, a woman who has mysteriously become immobile. Her husband, mathematician Ignace, goes in search of a cure. Along the way, his stepdaughter begins to receive mysterious messages hinting at the need to build a tower to save Lucille.
