Game Description

Capsized is an action platformer with 2D graphics, where the player will take control of a master of space travel and an experienced adventurer. The game was created under the strict guidance of programmer Lee Vermeulen and artist Jesse McGibney. The latter completely drew all the locations by hand.

The plot begins with a terrible shipwreck on which the protagonist was traveling. The main character survives and awakens on an unknown planet where no one has ever been. What it keeps in itself, what secrets and secret places, this remains to be found out during the passage. But the exploration of new territories and the rescue of surviving comrades from the spaceship will be hampered by detachments of alien creatures who are not very friendly towards the astronaut. In addition to searching locations, it will be necessary to find a way to leave such an aggressive planet.

The whole story is divided into 12 huge missions, where a non-linear plot will take place with the ability to freely move through the available levels. The cutscenes between the action are made in the style of comics. The weapons and equipment presented in the game are as futuristic and strange as possible: a gravitaran, an energy shield, a quasar matrix and a jetpack powered by alien fuel. Initially, only the story mode is available, but gradually cooperative playthrough and 4 types of arcade battles will open: battles to the death, survival, speedrun, fist fights.
