Game Description

Catastronauts allows you to play online with a friend, and you can do this on a pirate too. Both local multiplayer and online online are available. The project can be classified as a party game. Despite the fact that the title is designed for co-op, it also has a single player mode.

The possibility of free online play is designed for 2-4 people. In Catastronauts, users work together to control a starship and solve problems that constantly arise. Users also need to fight aliens. Each participant needs to run up to the onboard guns and activate them. Among them there are rocket, nuclear, and ion cannons. The action takes place in real time and on one screen. The camera is located on top. The enemy ship is not visible. However, the game shows your opponents' health bar and helps you understand how many shots are left to win.

Single and online play is constantly becoming more difficult. For example: various weapons on the ship begin to take a long time to charge, overheat, or require ammunition to be brought up. And enemy shells penetrate the hull and cause fires. As a result, players also have to run around the premises and fight the flames with fire extinguishers. Or take repair kits and fix holes. If you do not deal with such troubles in a timely manner, you will have to start the level again. All stages are available in both co-op and single player. As you progress, new mechanics are added, such as the need to hide from solar flares.
