Claire a la Mode is a global pastry tournament where not only the prestigious title of best baker, but also the fate of an entire city is at stake. This grand competition is marred by the presence of dishonest participants who seek to falsify the final results. At the head of the conspiracy is the insidious Queen Bee, whose numerous henchmen are actively trying to interfere with honest confectioners. Players will have to give a decisive rebuff to these decadent lackeys and, overcoming all difficulties, make their way to the pinnacle of glory. You can resist the scammers either alone or by joining forces with a friend in local co-op mode to bake your main culinary masterpiece together.
The basis of the gameplay is the passage of colorful levels in the format of a two-dimensional platformer, requiring rapid jerks and exceptional dexterity to overcome obstacles from the characters. In between dynamic stages, Claire a la Mode invites players to engage in the creative process of creating unique desserts. The project encourages repeat playthroughs with the ability to unlock new playable bakers, each of whom brings a fresh twist to the experience. There are three unique campaigns filled with a variety of missions, challenges and even several options for the ending of the story.
