Game Description
Cosmic Destroyer is an intense scrolling shooter whose gameplay is focused on precise and fast passage of winding locations with a branched structure. Confronting numerous opponents requires sharp reflexes and constant concentration. Objectives include maneuvering through dense concentrations of enemies, methodically destroying fortified bases and pursuing particularly dangerous bosses. There are several ships to choose from, each of which has a unique main weapon. The action takes place in space, where a squad of recyclers is forced to repel an aggressor from another galaxy. Both single and local co-op modes are available.
The central element of the combat system is a special manipulator. It is he who in Cosmic Destroyer becomes the main tool for survival and control over the battlefield. The controls are intentionally simplified to allow you to focus on tactical actions tied to a minimum number of buttons. Using this device, gamers will have to perform many operations:
grab and throw opponents to cause damage; reflect enemy shells, returning them to the sender; initiate chain reactions by detonating fuel cells scattered throughout the level; use ice asteroids to create fragmentation fields; use biological objects, such as bags of larvae, for tactical purposes.
