Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time - despite the four in the title - is the eighth game in the franchise. You will control a bandicoot named Crash, jumping on platforms. The sequel directly continues Crash Bandicoot N. Sane. The plot starts from the moment Cortex escapes from a space-time trap. Since he exists outside of space, the antagonist now poses a threat to the entire universe. The protagonist acquires a Lani-Loli mask and enlists the help of Coco.

They travel through the quantum worlds, trying to reach Doctor Neo, Nefarious Tropy and Uka Uka. The gameplay is as similar as possible to the original parts of the series. The main gameplay of It’s About Time will take place as Crash Bandicoot, but the player can choose a partner if desired, switching between characters at any time.
