Creepy Shift: Roadside Diner is a first-person horror game that draws users into the disturbing world of a roadside diner at night. The plot centers on a young man who takes up the night shift at this creepy diner, coincidentally ending up on the night of a blood moon. But this isn’t just any ordinary night shift - soon after the diner’s doors close, the usual routine begins to turn into something much darker.
Mundane tasks such as washing dishes, cleaning, and moving boxes into the basement quickly become the backdrop for much more sinister events. As the night goes on, strange events begin to break the monotony of what should have been a simple shift. For example, the jukebox, which is an integral part of the diner’s atmosphere, suddenly goes silent. A heavy, tense silence fills the air, and disturbing sounds come from the basement. What starts out as a normal night at work quickly turns into a desperate fight for survival.
The Creepy Shift: Roadside Diner player soon learns that there are a series of mysterious, almost cryptic rules that must be followed if he hopes to survive the night unscathed. The user must navigate this dark and twisted version of the diner, balancing between completing work assignments and the constant threat of supernatural danger. The basement, which was once a simple storage space, now seems like a lurking abyss, and strange sounds hint that something lurks beyond sight.
