Crypt of the NecroDancer is a hybrid of a rhythm game and a simplified roguelike. It has a single player mode and multiplayer, which is available online online. You can also play Pirate with a friend online. The indie project uses 2D pixel graphics and a top-down view. The title is made in a fantasy setting.

The product “Crypt of the Necrodancer” has atypical gameplay. In one turn, you can move a character, use an item, strike, and so on. Monsters walk at the same time as the hero or heroine. However, moving around dungeons, fighting monsters and other activities must be carried out in time with the music. A special heart-shaped indicator located at the bottom of the screen helps with getting into the rhythm. You can turn on the default soundtrack, or play songs from your own collection.

Locations are generated randomly each time. The order in which enemies are placed in dungeons also changes. Enemies include minotaurs, skeletons, bats, ghosts and other monsters. Enemies differ in appearance and behavior. You can collect coins, search chests, find and buy loot, break walls, and use a rich arsenal of weapons. There is a progression system. Between forays, you can upgrade your protagonist and even unlock new heroes, skins for them, items, and so on. The network game is designed for two users. You can play together on one computer. The free online play option includes several modes and challenges.
