Game Description
InCuphead we choose one of two heroes and set off to conquer a world that looks like very old cartoons, with tons of weapons, special moves and immortality. A classic, in the truest sense of the word, platformer, in which everything is set in the world of the 1930s. The music is jazz accompaniment, the graphics are standard Disney of the time, and the bosses are neither good nor evil. They are trying to kill us, but we can try to destroy them countless times. A true example of hardcore gameplay and an unusual setting, Cuphead’s surroundings seem to mock the gamer. Don’t be fooled: despite the cartoonish style of the image, this is pure hell for the casual player - a complex platformer with shooter elements, made in the style of the 1930s.
The user (and his friend, a joint passage is provided) embark on a journey full of unforgettable adventures, atmospheric locations and incredibly powerful, almost unkillable bosses. The protagonists are represented as mugs with arms and legs that shoot from their fingers, they and the rest look like classic Disney cartoons due to hand drawing. But despite the frivolous setting, each level is a real test. The game has a multiplayer mode. The platformer is a classic because of its controls, but not because of the story. If in other representatives of the genre the emphasis is on conquering the world, then in Cuphead the main task of the player is to cope with all the bosses that come along the way. They may be weaker than the previous ones, but they help you get a new weapon, learn techniques, see a new scene or listen to a jazz composition. Good old music.
The soundtrack, corresponding to the era of the thirties, also sets a special mood - mainly jazz and other similar compositions that fit perfectly into the general, crazy atmosphere of the game. This is many hours of difficult, incomparable combat, equally good at spoiling your nerves and delivering true pleasure. The hero can easily parry objects in the air and reflect them using learned combinations and techniques. But the basis of the game is still dealing maximum damage to the boss. By the way, the devil sends us bosses because Cuphead (the main character) must repay his debt to him. The faster the protagonist falls to the devil, the longer it will take to repay the debt - physical or spiritual. Therefore, our hero seeks to destroy the entire devilish army in order to pay off the minimum amount of debt.
