Game Description
Cut That Wire is a project in which four hostages have to find themselves in a confined space, where each of them has an explosive device attached to their chest. In this tense situation, they need to identify the traitor hiding under the guise of an ally, because any mistake could be the last. One of the participants, known as the Engineer, has critical information - he knows one of the safe wires.
However, his main task lies not so much in knowledge, but in the ability to convince others that he is right, while the bomb’s timer inexorably counts down the seconds until it explodes. Opposing him is a saboteur whose goal is to sow chaos and trick others into making a fatal mistake. The process of identifying a saboteur is based on a series of tests that test intuition and ability to deceive. Various mini-games, such as Big Bluff Drawing or Big Bluff Picture, require participants to complete tasks given different inputs, forcing the impostor to improvise to avoid giving himself away.
At the end of each round, Cut That Wire moves on to its climax: the general vote. The group decides which of them is the most suspicious and must cut the wire. The toss of a coin decides fate: the blue side will force the chosen one to try his luck on himself, and the red side will allow him to shift responsibility to another hostage. This first-person multiplayer title relies on psychological tension and social deduction. Here, bluffing and the ability to read opponents’ body language become no less important tools for survival than logic and cold calculation.
