Cyber Rats is a dark dive into a nightmarish scientific complex controlled by a ruthless artificial intelligence. Inside this sinister facility, cruel experiments are carried out on experimental rodents, forcing them to survive in deadly labyrinths. Each escape attempt is unique, as procedural generation constantly changes the structure of the corridors, filling them with new dangers. The path to freedom is blocked not only by sophisticated traps, but also by cybernetic hunters, whose only goal is to eliminate the fugitives.
The fate of defenseless laboratory rats is under the control of the gamer, who will have to put them through a series of sadistic tests. To escape this hell, you need to collect cheese, which serves as the key to advancement, and outwit the enemies patrolling the territory. Over time, access to various improvements and terrible mutations opens up. This roguelight mechanic allows you to turn ordinary rodents into cyborgs or zombies, giving them the abilities to withstand the horrors of the complex. Cyber Rats offers an ever-evolving experience where every death becomes part of a larger experiment.
Ways to survive in mechanized hell:
Mastering three different biomes: from sterile scientific compartments to surreal Forests and Backstage. Confront three types of cybernetic hunters, each of which requires a special approach to neutralize. Opening access to eight unique species of rats, differing not only in appearance, but also in potential capabilities. Overcoming five successive phases of the experiment, where the complexity of the labyrinths and the deadly traps increase with each stage.
