Dark Chess offers you to play chess with a friend or random players, taking part in multiplayer competitions for free on a pirate. You can play online or fight against artificial intelligence. Multiplayer is available online and locally. Introduced the possibility of free online play on a shared screen, where players take turns making moves. A special feature of the gameplay is the competition in chess with the fog of war. This way you can hide your army from the eyes of the enemy. The gameplay and rules are basically the same as the original board game.

There is a single-player campaign, quick matches and online play with profile settings: you can choose avatars, various visual effects and personalize your hero in every possible way. Dark Chess features many famous personalities of the past: Genghis Khan, King Solomon, Ivan the Terrible, Queen Elizabeth, Empress Cixi and many others. For defeating an opponent, experience points are awarded and your rank increases. You can unlock the Grandmaster title. Experience points unlock a variety of cosmetics, visual enhancements, new avatars, and a lot of other content.
