Dawn of the Ashen Queen is an online dungeon crawler that invites gamers to journey through a world rich in history, secrets and conflict. The action takes place on the land of Eshavon, a continent still reeling from the effects of the Great War, where the effects of a thousand-year curse continue to manifest themselves. As an emissary of the Grand Marshal, the player is thrust into a tense political environment where the task of rebuilding a fragmented empire takes an unexpected and dangerous turn.
The plot of Dawn of the Ashen Queen takes place after a surprise attack on a border town leaves the protagonist cut off from the rest of the empire and surrounded by danger. With the help of several unlikely companions, the player must navigate this fractured world while uncovering dark secrets that threaten the very fabric of their society. Eshavon is a land still recovering, but the peace it maintains now is fragile.
The once powerful forces that destroyed the earth during the Great War left behind not only ruins, but also a continent on the verge of a new catastrophe. The uneasy truce between the Darok tribes in the north and the Imperial Kingdom in the south is constantly under threat.
