Game Description
Deadcam is a psychological horror game where the feeling of fear is fueled by the ability to see yourself through the eyes of a ruthless stalker. The main character finds himself locked within the walls of an abandoned rural house along with Margot, a former film crew colleague who has turned into a deadly threat. Her head-mounted camera continues to work, broadcasting in real time her distorted face and every step that brings her closer to her victim. The TV show producer escaped, tightly sealing the exit and dooming the protagonist to survive in a confined space with the monster.
The basis of the gameplay is stealth, because every creak of the floorboards can give away the location and attract the attention of an unpredictable monster. However, hiding all the time will not work, since to escape you need to find a hammer that can break the lock. The Deadcam project forces you to constantly move around the house, leaving temporary shelters and risking everything for the chance to escape. This whole nightmare was the result of a desperate attempt to film a new episode for a failed ghost hunting show. The only ally in this creepy place is a raccoon, whose mysterious clues point the way to salvation.
Notes left on the walls of the house:
Any careless sound attracts her attention. The tablet shows a live feed from her camera. The receiver helps determine its location with a light pulse. Trust the raccoon - he knows more than he seems.
