Events unfold in the uncharted depths of an alien ocean, where the oppressive atmosphere is emphasized by a unique visual style. Diving into the world of Death In Abyss involves meeting nightmarish bioluminescent creatures and giants that cause attacks of thalassophobia. The main task is to move deeper into the abyss in order to discover the source of the mysterious outbreak of aggression. The visual style harkens back to the early 3D era, complemented by the aesthetics of old computer terminals, while the soundtrack enhances the immersive feel of retro horror.
