Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is a story about survival in the midst of global cataclysms, forcing you to constantly adapt to the harsh conditions of a destroyed world. The process of exploring territories is complicated by earthquakes, forest fires and sandstorms, and the fallout of temporal rain destroys any matter. Asynchronous interaction between gamers allows you to remotely change the landscape of other people’s universes. The confrontation with the famous antagonist Higgs reaches a new level of danger, while the rapidly evolving entity of Tomorrow poses an additional threat. To overcome obstacles, the protagonist uses an expanded arsenal of weapons and upgraded vehicles.
Chronologically, events take place 11 months after the end of the original campaign. Sam Porter Bridges joins forces with Fragile to work under the new Drawbridge structure. The storyline of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach moves the action to the territory of the Australian continent, forcing isolated settlements to be reconnected to the chiral network. The global reunification of humanity has unpredictable consequences. To successfully complete the mission and save civilization from extinction, the courier will have to:
