Deep Space Exploitation is a space mining simulator in which pilots have to work for a dubious corporation in the distant future. The storyline, spanning a prologue and several epilogues, challenges gamers to survive under harsh corporate oppression. The main gameplay comes down to the exploration of asteroid fields, where not only courage is required, but also extreme caution to successfully extract resources. Every decision made directly affects the further development of events and the ability to secure a decent future for oneself. You will have to either follow the strict rules of the company, or take fate into your own hands by challenging the system. Success depends on competent management of the ship and its equipment.

The project offers extensive opportunities to upgrade your vessel and select the best tools for the task at hand. It’s important to remember that in the world of Deep Space Exploitation, everything has a price, and every upgrade requires a balanced approach. The gameplay is based on two-dimensional physics with a completely destructible environment, which makes collisions and explosions especially spectacular. The visual style is made in deliberately rough pixel graphics, emphasizing the harsh atmosphere of what is happening. All interaction with finances, equipment and tasks is carried out through a single terminal, simplifying management between flights.
