Game Description
Desktop Fishing is an idle game designed to run in a small window on the screen and run in parallel with other tasks on the computer. In it, the frog character fishes on his own, finds new clothes for himself and discovers a series of different fishing spots. The main conflict is the spread of algae, which threatens the fish population in the project world. Consequently, the main goal for the player becomes to rescue as many fish as possible from these increasingly polluted waters.
This key gameplay continues, allowing you to make progress without being distracted by other things. Gamers can customize their frog’s appearance in Desktop Fishing using a selection of clothing, accessories, and available color palettes. The customization system provides a wide range of items that can be combined to change the appearance of the protagonist. The collectible aspect of this title includes over 50 different species of fish to catch and keep track of. Thanks to the element of chance built into fishing, it’s also possible to pull out rare Shiny variants or even Holo versions of aquatic creatures.
These infrequent finds are added to the player’s collection, marking their successful capture. As gamers progress through the game, they gradually gain access to a number of different fishing locations. These zones extend from the original lake to other areas, such as the surrounding area of a volcano, each containing a unique set of fish. What’s more, each location offers its own selection of exclusive customization items that can’t be found anywhere else. These special cosmetic items are not purchased, but are obtained randomly through fishing, adding an element of exploration to clothing collection.
