Game Description
DONT SCREAM TOGETHER is a cooperative project in the horror genre, the main goal of which is the need to survive in a gloomy forest until 8 o’clock in the morning. The key mechanic of this survival simulator is based on interaction with the microphone, since any loud sound, be it a scream or even a cough, will immediately restart the session for the entire group. Alternate mode turns the troublemaker into a hunter, forcing him to pursue former allies. The visual design is stylized as VHS tape recordings, which enhances the oppressive atmosphere and sense of presence in the events unfolding in 1993.
The progress of time in DONT SCREAM TOGETHER directly depends on the movement of the characters, so standing still does not bring the saving dawn closer. To maintain the functionality of the video camera, through the lens of which the events are observed from the first person, a constant search for batteries is required. Built-in voice chat works by taking into account the distance between avatars, which forces the group to stick together to coordinate actions. The environment is filled with sudden jump scares and traps that test everyone’s endurance.
The forest thicket is fraught with many dangers, from wild animals and serial killers to paranormal entities. Exploring locations allows you to discover hidden places, as well as find mysterious relics and symbols that reveal the secrets of the cursed territory. Successful survival of a group of 4 requires coordinated action and iron discipline. Even a careless sneeze can be considered a failure by the system, making every minute of being in the forest a real test of self-control.
