Game Description

DON’T SCREAM is a thrilling indie horror game that plunges you into the heart of an eerie forest with a nerve-wracking twist: silence is the key to survival. The basic concept is simple, but fiendishly difficult: survive in a creepy forest for 18 minutes without letting out a single scream. An integral component of the game is a functional microphone, and any flash, scream or loud noise will result in the character’s untimely demise, causing an unfortunate restart.

DON’T SCREAM cleverly keeps the player on the edge of their seats with a variety of dynamic leaps and bounds, a relentless test of nerves and courage. A distinctive feature of the game is the time mechanics. The clock only ticks when the player moves, creating a palpable layer of tension and strategic gameplay. However, this is not just your average horror game. It aims to replicate the creepy atmosphere of shot-on-video films such as The Blair Witch Project. This is not only a personal horror, but also a communal experience where friends and family can watch and listen to the players' creepy reactions. This is a severe test of self-control, where any careless sound can lead to death.
