Downfall – A Horror Adventure Game classic pixel version is a dark psychological adventure in which the Safe Haven hotel becomes a trap for the main character, balancing between reality and nightmare. The protagonist, Joe Davis, finds himself completely isolated after his wife disappears without a trace. Initially conceived as a place for solitude, the establishment is transformed into a labyrinth built on human suffering. To understand what is happening, Joe will have to face the mysterious Hotel Manager. In addition, four women named Sophie will stand in his way, each of whom is the embodiment of the extreme character traits of his missing wife.

The narrative of Downfall - A Horror Adventure Game begins with Joe and his wife Ivy Davis' desperate attempt to save their crumbling marriage during a road trip. However, the situation quickly spirals out of control, plunging the characters into the abyss of madness. In this side-scroller, the gamer will have to determine the identity of the protagonist through a system of elections, deciding who he is: a loving husband, a cold realist or an embittered skeptic. The story deals with complex themes of love and murder, offering a journey into the depths of the fractured human psyche, accompanied by stylized graphics and scenes of violence.
