Game Description
Dresden Files Cooperative Card Game is a cooperative card adaptation, the plot of which allows you to play out alternative scenarios from the universe of the book series of the same name. Instead of strictly following the canon, the project proposes to join the efforts of iconic characters to jointly confront the monsters and mysteries of Chicago. The adventure is based on the events of the first five novels in the series, as well as a random case generator inspired by a collection of short stories. This creates a unique narrative where strategic collaboration becomes the main tool for achieving investigative success.
Selectable protagonists:
Harry Dresden is the central character of the story, with unique abilities. Karrin Murphy is a police officer who relies on tactical thinking and deduction. Michael Carpenter is a knight who uses faith to fight evil. Susan Rodriguez is a journalist whose connections help with investigations. Molly Carpenter is a young sorceress who specializes in illusions and mental magic.
The gameplay requires coordinated actions from allies and competent distribution of resources. To defeat opponents, collect clues and overcome obstacles, you use a combination of cards from your personal deck and the results of dice rolls. Scenario progression in the Dresden Files Cooperative Card Game is built around the need to make informed decisions, as each action directly affects the odds in the final encounter that concludes the next case. The difficulty of the challenges flexibly adapts to the number of characters involved, from 1 to 5, providing a balanced challenge for both solo play and full team play.
