Game Description
DRIFT ISLAND invites players to design unique missile vehicles, choosing from a selection of chassis and engines. Gameplay includes detailed car customization: changing suspension geometry and turbocharging power to radically transform performance. The main activity is moving around a large open world, performing controlled drifts in various locations. Success is measured by accumulating points as you glide through winding mountain roads and spacious industrial zones.

Assembly and deep tuning of your own missile car; Open world with many locations for drifting; Realistic system of damage and subsequent repairs; Economic model: work, earn money and improve your transport.
This project implements a comprehensive damage model. An incorrectly adjusted engine can cause a massive explosion that will stop your race and require serious attention. Collisions with fences and environmental objects cause significant damage to the body and individual parts of the vehicle. Such malfunctions require repair in a workshop to maintain the vehicle’s working condition and further participation in game events.
Gamers will have to complete side tasks to finance repairs and purchase new spare parts. One such occupation is working as a courier driver, using drift-ready vehicles to make quick deliveries. The money earned is directly invested in further modifications. The entire game is built on an economic cycle of earnings and improvements, allowing you to continuously improve the car’s capabilities for controlled drifts.
