Game Description
Dungeons and Kingdoms is a hybrid project that combines the features of a kingdom management simulator and role-playing action game with dungeon exploration. The advancement of technology and the overall prosperity of the settlement directly depend on bold forays into dangerous locations. Adventurers will have to descend into ancient ruins and temples filled with ferocious monsters. Battles with opponents, including powerful bosses, take place in third-person action format. Victory over enemies is rewarded with valuable resources necessary for the technological development of the entire kingdom, as well as for protecting roads from bandits.
Trophies obtained in battles become the basis for the construction and improvement of unique buildings. Builders have at their disposal a modular system with over 500 elements, allowing them to create buildings from scratch or use editable drawings. Beyond the architectural challenges, Dungeons & Kingdoms offers deep citizen management. Each settler has their own needs and skills, and the community’s survival requires hunting, farming, and resource gathering. The surrounding landscape can be changed: leveling areas for fields, digging ditches or creating hills for buildings.
The story begins with managing a small group of refugees forced to leave their native lands in search of a new home. The primary task becomes basic survival, which includes obtaining food and creating simple tools and shelters. Adaptation to difficulties is forced by realistic cycles of day and night, as well as changing seasons, which affect the availability of resources. Thus, the path from a handful of exiles to the rulers of a prosperous state is entirely in the hands of the gamer.
