The surroundings, with uncured bloodstains and unidentified remains of flesh, clearly hint at a recent tragedy. The space is filled with inhuman moans emitted by grotesque creatures that mercilessly pursue the protagonist. Any mistake in this hostile world leads to instant and cruel death. Confrontation with monsters is not based on direct confrontation, but on the use of ingenuity and available means for survival.
The process of exploring locations requires extreme concentration from the gamer, because it is necessary not only to hide, but also to solve puzzles generated by madness. To create short moments of respite in DYSTHANASIA, you can use environmental traps or blind opponents with flares. Moving through ventilation shafts and corridors becomes the only way to avoid encounters with aggressive entities. The storyline is presented in fragments, gradually revealing the forbidden truth about what is happening and the personality of the girl herself. Connecting all the clues together can lead to a shocking ending that will make you regret revealing all the secrets. As you progress, new costumes for the character and a gallery become available for a detailed examination of the unlocked monsters.
