Eternity Egg is a chaotic action-adventure platformer with a concept that harkens back to the 3D gaming era of the mid-90s. The visual component of the project deliberately uses stylized polygonal graphics with characteristic shiny surfaces, creating a distinctive and recognizable retro image. This bizarre world is inhabited by grotesque and sometimes awkward creatures, whose appearance perfectly complements the overall atmosphere of a surreal and unpredictable journey. An integral part of this experience is the high-energy electronic trance soundtrack, which sets a fast-paced and intense rhythm to everything that happens. The project is an exclusively single-player adventure, where the main emphasis is on dynamic exploration of the environment and overcoming platform challenges.
The central element of the gameplay formula is the unique physics of springy movements, allowing the protagonist to make incredibly high and long jumps. Mastering these mechanics becomes the key to successfully completing intricate levels designed with verticality in mind. The ability to control piloted mechs, which radically change the dynamics, brings significant variety to the process of exploring the world of Eternity Egg. By taking control of one of these giants, the hero gains access to powerful weapons and the ability to overcome previously insurmountable obstacles. Events are observed from a third-person perspective, which provides a comfortable overview and allows players to fully appreciate the scale of the locations.
