Game Description

Eventide Matter is a 2D adventure where the survival of civilization depends on the construction of an interdimensional portal. The unknown continuum into which the protagonist finds himself turns out to be a hostile environment. Local crystalline life forms perceive the newcomer as an invader and attack without hesitation, trying to destroy any of his creations. As the pilot of the ship, Vanguard Unit 4 will have to operate under constant threat. A huge responsibility falls on our shoulders, because our native universe is inexorably fading, and every second of delay brings its final collapse closer, leaving no chance of salvation.

The main task is to build a complex engineering structure - the Phase Gate, the only way to evacuate the remnants of their people. The assembly process requires the sequential creation of many intricate layers of structure. The Eventide Matter project forces you to constantly balance between construction and defense from unforgiving opponents. To create a portal, you must master the extraction of six unique types of materials and their subsequent processing into high-tech components necessary to continue the mission. Progress opens up access to new opportunities, allowing you to more effectively counter threats and speed up construction.

Technologies for survival in an alien world:

Exploration of an extensive technology tree with dozens of permanent improvements for the ship. Unlock and strengthen about 10 types of modules, including lasers, tractor beams and drones. Use powerful energy shields to increase survivability in battle. Create advanced components from mined exotic resources to assemble the portal.
