Criminal showdowns in Fading Afternoon are transferred to the territory of a Japanese town where the yakuza flourishes. The main character is Seiji Maruyama, a middle-aged man who was recently released from prison. The character has the nickname “Gozuki” (one of the demon generals in Buddhism) and has incredible strength and reflexes, which helps him survive in dangerous skirmishes and firefights with opponents. The game is a 2D beat’em up project, drawn in old school pixel art.

The dynamic battles in Fading Afternoon are filled with a lot of interactive interaction and cut scenes, which add an epic feel to the events taking place. Players will use kicks and punches, as well as any handy objects, to attack. The hero will be able to throw knives at opponents, make cutting attacks with a katana, or shoot with a pistol.
