FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves is released as a new chapter in the fighting game series, 26 years after the release of the previous main part. This project includes mechanics that provide special offensive capabilities from the very beginning of the fight. It covers the moves REV Arts, REV Accel and REV Blows (with S.P.G. active), and its use is limited by the REV Meter, which overheats from intensive use. This key system allows you to fight at an accelerated pace already at the start of battles.
FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves players have two control options. The Arcade Style option relies on technically precise commands to perform maneuvers. An alternative, Smart Style, allows you to perform spectacular special moves and attack combinations through directed inputs and individual button presses. These control schemes offer options for people of varying levels of fighting game experience. The action takes place in the city of South Town, where fighters of different origins clash.
Each character’s appearance matches the title’s unique art style, designed to impact perception. This visual approach shapes the appearance of all competitors. For solo play, the EPISODES OF SOUTH TOWN mode with RPG elements is intended. This part of the gameplay involves challenging opponents within certain combat conditions to earn experience points and other in-game rewards. Accumulating resources allows you to increase your fighter’s level and unlock a variety of skills. Progress through the story involves defeating various opponents encountered in this mode.
