Game Description
Floodland is a city builder with survival, strategy and roguelike elements. With each new playthrough, the map is generated randomly. Events are also generated randomly. This increases replayability. The project uses a post-apocalyptic setting. The user can choose one of the clans. Each faction has its own unique perks. You can be friends or fight with other factions. The player is asked to build buildings, improve buildings, extract resources, find food, look for lost technologies, explore islands, take care of his charges and train them into specialists, help other survivors or deal with competitors.
Floodland takes place in a dystopian near future. A catastrophe has occurred on Earth due to climate problems. After her, the world changed forever. Most of the planet was flooded, and very few pieces of land remained suitable for life. In place of the continents, clusters of swamps and islands remained. Due to the natural crisis, many people have died. The player is given the role of leader of one of the groups of survivors. The user’s task is to establish a settlement on the ruins of human civilization and begin to develop it. The user is allowed to choose the form of government. For example, he can create a society where equality reigns, or establish a harsh dictatorship. There is also the opportunity to create unique legislation and upgrade it in the law tree.
