Game Description

Folly of the Wizards proposes to try on the role of a sorcerer’s student from a kind of magical cult. The main task is to stop the invasion of demons, passing through a series of procedurally created dungeons. Each race will require the use of unpredictable spells to destroy bizarre opponents and advance inland of chaotic locations. To survive, a quick reaction and a tactical mindset are necessary to overcome many dangers. Successful passage will save the world from the onslaught of demonic forces.

Gameplay in Folly of the Wizards is built on passing 5 levels accidentally selected from 9 available biomes. There are 4 characters-magicians to choose from, each of which has unique characteristics and vulnerabilities. The power of the hero increases with the help of objects: in the game there are 130 relics, volumes and scrolls. The relics give passive bonuses, volumes change the spontaneous damage of ordinary attacks, and scrolls open access to powerful abilities with the time of recovery. Each level ends with a battle with one of 22 unique bosses.

In addition to the battles, social interactions directly affect the course of adventure. Conversations with powerful magicians are confronted with a choice that allows you to gain strong allies or to incur their anger. The decisions made, as well as the choice of one of 4 inclinations, determine which bosses will meet in the way. Gamer’s actions are narrative to one of the 7 different endings, predetermining the result of the student’s wanderings and changing the world in accordance with the prevailing relationship.
