Game Description
Foolish Mortals is an adventure in which the search for the treasure of the Belmore estate turns into a real race with a hostile phantom. The main character, young treasure hunter Murphy McCallan, will not only have to outrun an evil spirit, but also unravel the mystery of a wedding party that disappeared decades ago. To do this, he collects ingredients according to a list from an ancient voodoo manuscript, shoots from the cannons of an abandoned fort, and even survives being buried alive. All these trials lead to the unraveling of a terrible secret connecting wealth and missing people.
The action takes place on the fog-shrouded island of Devil’s Rock, where each location holds its own mysteries. Foolish Mortals' journey takes you through more than 70 hand-painted scenes, from the creaking docks of Dednettle to the dark halls of an ancient French-Caribbean fortress. The gameplay follows the canons of classic quests with an inventory of over 100 items to collect and combine. The atmosphere is enhanced by over 30 fully voiced characters and two hours of original music.
Treasure Hunter Route:
Exploring the abandoned river boat Spirit of the Queen, which became a haven for voodoo practices. A visit to the gloomy St. Juniper Parish Cemetery in search of clues. Infiltrating a closed club of sea captains to obtain valuable information. Descent to the bottom of the wishing well in the hope of finding the key to the main secret of the estate.
