FrostBound

FrostBound is a roguelike project with elements of card strategy and tower defense, where the main task is to repel endless enemy attacks in permafrost conditions. In each round, you need to make tactical decisions: attack the enemy or deploy new troops on the battlefield. A feature of the battles is the harsh climate, forcing most fighters to retreat after just one turn. Only the most resilient warriors and durable buildings are able to withstand the onslaught and continue the battle. Thus, the gameplay turns into a tense confrontation, requiring careful planning of each action to hold the last line of defense.

To achieve victory, an extensive arsenal of more than 500 cards belonging to 4 unique factions is provided. Combining their abilities allows you to create unexpected synergies that completely change the course of battle in FrostBound. An important role in progression is played by the mechanics of elite cards, which return to the hand after defeat, giving a chance for a triumphant return. In addition, 10 powerful heroes are available at the start, each of whom has their own skills to support the garrison. This system provides high replay value, offering fresh tactical options in each new game.

The action takes place in a world shackled by an endless winter, the secrets of which will be revealed as you progress. On the way to solving the curse, you will face over 80 types of opponents, whose waves are becoming more and more crushing. More than 100 different buildings will help resist them, each of which contributes to the overall defensive power. The main goal is not just survival, but the protection of the last spark of human civilization. Only by breaking the shackles of eternal cold can final victory be achieved.
