In Gensokyo Odyssey, after a typical school trip takes a detour, you find yourself in the mystical land of Gensokyo, armed only with an air hockey stick. You’re immediately thrown into a world filled with strange creatures and quirky characters like Reimu and Marisa who might need your help - although they’re not entirely sure why you’re here in the first place. The humor never leaves you indifferent as you find yourself in unpredictable situations, trying to figure out what to do next. It’s a journey full of surprises where you never know what will happen next.

Gensokyo Odyssey’s structure combines visual novel elements with quirky gameplay, and your surprise weapon is an air hockey paddle. In the world of Gensokyo, logic doesn’t always apply, and using such an ordinary item to fight unusual enemies becomes part of the charm.
