Golf VS Zombies allows players to play online with a friend, immersing players in a post-apocalyptic world where golf courses turn into an arena for fighting for survival. Free to play on a pirate course, you can navigate 18-hole courses while facing hordes of zombies, turning traditional golf mechanics into a weapon against the undead. The game combines a sports simulator with survival mechanics, where both performance and destruction of the enemy depend on accuracy. In an online multiplayer game, each player faces unique strategic scenarios that require a balance between precise strikes and defensive maneuvers.

The progression system includes currency in the form of bottle caps, which players collect from defeated enemies and successfully completed holes. With this money, you can buy equipment upgrades from a mysterious merchant’s shop, including specialized clubs that can be used as weapons and golf balls with combat modifications. Players develop their golfing abilities through an RPG-style skill tree, enhancing both their athletic prowess and survival capabilities. The system allows for a variety of play styles, from pure golf to aggressive walker-killing strategies.

The multiplayer component supports up to four players in local mode, where competitors must outdo each other while managing the ever-present zombie threat. In each round, random events occur that affect the conditions of the game: from a sudden raid of the dead to a profitable drop in supplies. The game keeps individual statistics for several categories, including longest run, number of zombies killed, and time to complete the course, which promotes competitive replayability among players.
