Goodnight Universe puts at the center of the story a six-month-old baby named Isaac, who has not only a developed intellect, but also mysterious psychic abilities. His main desire is to receive the love and recognition of his family, whose members are emotionally distant from each other. However, the gifted child is already being hunted by a shadowy technology corporation pursuing its own goals. In an attempt to improve his relationships with his loved ones and keep his secret, Isaac secretly uses telekinesis and telepathy to solve their problems and ease their mental suffering, while remaining an ordinary baby in their eyes.
Interaction with the world in this first-person adventure is implemented in an unusual way. The Goodnight Universe project proposes using a webcam to track eye movements and facial expressions, turning them into a tool for interacting with the environment. This way you can move objects from a distance or even change channels on your TV with just a blink. While a traditional controller is also available, it’s the facial gestures that allow you to immerse yourself deeper into the role of a child creating real magic. You have to solve puzzles and explore a world full of both comical situations and touching moments.
